"Nothing is absolute. Everything changes, everything moves, everything revolves . . .”                                                                                                                                -Frida Kahlo

I am an EMDR trained therapist who works with individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups. I believe therapy is most transformative when the therapist positions themselves not as an expert or evaluator, but as an empathic and thoughtful collaborator. My hope is to create a space for you to feel safe and supported and to have your multilayered experiences in life honored, validated and understood. My general approach to therapy is multi-disciplinary, combining psychodynamic techniques, mindfulness, attachment-based work and trauma-informed therapy. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).

Prior to receiving my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and beginning on the journey towards becoming a therapist, I received a degree in Cultural Anthropology, where I focused my research on immigration policy, the dismantling of racism/ethnophobia, feminist theory, and LGBTQI+ affirmative social action. It was at this time that my desire to commit my life’s work to interpersonal and societal healing was solidified.

Years before realizing my passion for the social and behavioral sciences, I attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, where I studied Fine Art and Design. After working for a time in the fashion industry in New York, I was compelled to pursue a career path that was more aligned with my empathic nature and desire to contribute to positive social change, on both the micro and macro levels.
