My therapeutic approach is based upon the belief that each of us carries within the wisdom and tools to initiate our own healing.  The therapeutic relationship, then becomes a facilitation of a return to Self. A return to our own sense of knowing the purpose for our lives.

Socrates said that the unexamined life is not worth living. I believe that the introspective work of truly knowing ourselves is some of the most vital work we can do in our lifetime. This work can foster a sense of awareness, a sense of self confidence, and most importantly a sense of internal peace. If we look at our life as a life school of sorts, with each challenging experience our question is no longer, “why is this happening to me?” but rather, “what is this here to teach me?”

I utilize a strength based, psychodynamic approach in my work with clients and draw from by background in depth psychology, somatic movement and mindfulness to provide an integrated approach to emotional well-being.

A great deal of my clinical experience is in working with:

  • Addiction
  • Substance Abuse
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Eating Disorders
  • Family Conflict
  • Relationship Issues
  • Individuation Issues

If you are interested in learning more about me, please visit my website. I provide free 20-minute prospective client video consultation to answer any questions you may have, and to help us to determine if working together would be a good fit.  From there, I meet with my clients weekly for 50-minute sessions. My rate is $80-100 per session based on income. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a consultation or with any questions you have.
