Sessions Counseling Group

A Marriage and Family Therapy Professional Corporation

I grew up living in several countries, and I embrace multiculturalism in my personal life and uphold cultural humility as a foundational value in my work as a therapist. As an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia, I fell in love with multidisciplinary research and received my B.A. in Comparative Literature, Middle Eastern Studies, and Dance. My background as a dancer and yoga teacher informs my therapeutic approach, and I incorporate somatic inquiry, mindfulness, and embodiment in therapy. I am oriented toward holistic approaches, and I offer the integration of spiritual and psychological perspectives to those who are interested. I enjoy including artistic modalities in therapy, and I love to support clients in connecting to their creativity. I am comfortable delving into the world of dreams and exploring the significance of symbols. I look forward to meeting you and tending to psyche together.

Fee: $150 per 50 minute session. Sliding scale: $80-$120.

I invite you on a journey of deep discovery, to explore who and how you are. Therapy can offer a way back to connecting to vibrancy in life. My intention is to support you in processing painful experiences, letting go of patterns that may constrain you, and living with a sense of wholeness. Together, we will move between revisiting the past, focusing on the present, and visioning into the future.

I work from a depth psychological perspective, and I provide therapy informed by attachment, family systems, and psychodynamic theories. Through this approach, I offer an opening to perceiving aspects of oneself that had been unconscious and an expansion of awareness of one’s behaviors, relationships, and values. As a therapist, I offer empathic attunement, sensitivity, possibility, and reflection. I value therapy as a true collaboration between therapist and client, and I invite clients to discuss the therapeutic relationship with me. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to explore and provide care for the parts of oneself that may need attention, and I provide a warm and nonjudgmental space as we explore dynamics that may be painful and uncomfortable. With time, we can find a path toward change and understanding.

I attained my master’s degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Counseling Psychology: Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology. I began my clinical training at the Women’s Clinic Counseling Center in West Los Angeles in 2018. I have experience providing psychotherapy focusing on processing trauma and grief, coping with and integrating depression and anxiety, exploring the roots of relationship patterns, connecting with sexuality, navigating changes in career and life transitions, developing self-soothing skills, overcoming limiting self-beliefs, setting and respecting boundaries, improving interpersonal communication, and engaging in meaning-making. I am registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (#119420), and I am supervised by Gary D. Pearle, Ph.D., L.M.F.T. #30246.
