Sessions Counseling Group
Welcome to Sessions Counseling Group. I am proud to serve our community and hope I can be of help to you moving forward. I specialize in working with creatives, couples, and parents who struggle to maintain healthy personal and professional relationships. With a personal connection to art-making and artists, I understand how difficult it can be to build love and intimacy on an inconsistent schedule peppered with exhilarating highs and sometimes devastating lows. The strength and resilience needed to thrive in a city as complex and challenging as LA can drain all of one’s energy, patience, and resolve, leaving none left for loved ones.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked extensively with body expression as a choreographer, teacher, and Pilates instructor. For over 20 years, I have helped others examine their personal narrative through physical investigation, and experience somatic and spiritual healing through body awareness and integration.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
Many of my clients start therapy feeling lost, overwhelmed, and anxious. Clients are met with warmth, humor, and acceptance in a safe, dynamic environment. Solutions are co-created as clients learn practical tools they can use to gain footing in an unpredictable world. Over time, clients report feeling a positive shift in the quality of their relationships and renewed confidence in their roles as partner, parent, and artist.

I am passionate about therapy. At its core it is an artistic endeavor - collaborative, poetic, and profound. It is an invitation to expand who you are into the person you are meant to be.

A Marriage and Family Therapy Professional Corporation
As an LA native, wife, and mother of 2, I am sensitive to those striving to construct a sustainable life in Los Angeles. Couples and parents may have difficulty deciding when or if to marry and how to navigate the responsibilities of a shared life when considering children and their impact on individual goals. Whether you are a creative, couple, parent, or all of the above, I work to empower my clients to celebrate their core values and culture while embracing LA’s diverse opportunities and cultural landscape.
I hold a Masters degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. My training at The Center for Individual and Family Counseling in North Hollywood, established my commitment to working with artists, couples, and parents using a psychodynamic, multicultural lens. Additional training includes counseling teens and elementary school aged children struggling with emotional regulation, peer relations, anxiety, and sexuality within the Burbank school district through Family Service Agency of Burbank.
